Ragging of any kind is declared as a criminal offence
and is strictly banned in the campus/hostel as per the
Hon’ble Supreme Court directions.
All the students are directed to strictly desist from
ragging in any form. The display of disorderly conduct, teasing, rude treatment, manhandling, any kind of
psychological abuse, asking students to do any act which they would not have done in an ordinary course or which
causes them embarrassment etc. would be treated as
ragging.
Strict action will be taken against the students
indulging in the illegal act of ragging. The defaulters will be
suspended/expelled from the hostel and rusticated from the
institute. FIR may also be lodged against the defaulters.

Any incident of ragging may be immediately brought into the notice of any of the above mentioned faculty members. The above mentioned committee will enquire into any incident of ragging reported to it, to the satisfaction of affected student. If the affected student is not satisfied with the action taken against defaulter after enquiry, FIR will be lodged against the defaulter students by the institute.
